The outdoor gardens of the US botanic gardens are another great place to be with nature. When the Monarch Butterflies migrate back up north, they love to feed on the many flowers blooming at the gardens. Many birds such as colorful fox sparrows enjoy the brush and coverage of the trees and bushes. There is also a rose garden where many bees visit. If you are visiting or live near DC, be sure to not just see the indoor gardens, but the outdoor ones as well.
