Nature Day

Today was a great day for nature observations!

First, I saw a hummingbird in my yard for the first time! It went to the milkweeds and the Cardinal Flower. We are planning on putting up a hummingbird feeder to attract more hummingbirds. Then, while taking a walk, I saw an American Goldfinch fly up in front of me! Also, on many yards and lawns, there are various kinds of mushrooms, which are very interesting.

Another interesting thing I happened to see was a self-driving car that has been driving around my hometown! I hope that self-driving cars improve safety for wildlife as well as people.
