Went to Huntley Meadows today. It really proves that if you look closley at nature you can see incredible life. We saw 21 species of birds, including the rare Rusty Blackbirds. We saw turtles, muskrats, and even skinks. Many of the animals there were very freindly and did not run away if you approached them. You have to approach them with a non-hostile demeanor and then they won't feel as frightened. Once one gets out into nature, they learn how to look closely and treat widlife well.

We were lucky to see these five American Coots right next to the boardwalk.

So if you go out into nature and hone your observation skills, you can see some wonderful, cool, incredible things.
