Brookside Gardens

A few days ago, we went to Brookside Gardens in Maryland. It's a beautiful place. There are lots of flowers, bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. It's free to get in and walk on the pathways, but you have to pay a small fee for the exhibits.

We had gone to see the Wings of fancy exhibit. There was a small admission fee, but it was worth it. In the outdoor part of the exhibit, there were a ton of monarch butterfly caterpillars happily munching away on milkweed. There were hummingbirds. A lot more butterflies and bees. It was breathtaking.

Then we went to the indoor exhibit. There were hundreds of butterflies. Drinking, flying, resting. There were butterflies from all over the world.
