Awesome Trip to Huntley Meadows
Hi! Yesterday I went with a bunch of birders to Huntley meadows. Now that fall migration is here, many warblers and shorebirds returning south are flocking to mid-atlantic coasts. Now is a good time to go to the beach! My camera lens got a little blurry from the bad weather, but here are some of the things I saw at Huntley Meadows yesterday:
Little Blue Heron
Killdeer
Lesser Yellowlegs
Palm Warbler
Then I also got to taste a leaf of this native plant. It gives you an interesting burning sensation, hence it was given the name Smartweed.
