Bird Banding

Yesterday was my third time doing bird banding! I saw three birds being banded.

There was a Chickadee,

A House Wren,

A Common Yellowthroat,

And a dragonfly that got caught in the net! Although one of the insect's legs was damaged, he was able to fly away ok.

Aside from the birds we banded, there were plenty bluebirds, cowbirds, and insects. It was a great day.
