Tree Planting

On October 18th, I went with a nature organization, called Earth Sangha, to Zachary Taylor Nature Area. Zachary Taylor is a small trail/park in Arlington, and is a nice community resource. However, the park's tree canopy needed a little replenishing.

That's why we had the oppurtunity to plant hundreds of tree saplings in the park. Lots of people came to plant species of native trees and help out in the cause.

I got to plant a Chesnut Oak! Here is a picture of it:
