On January 30th, me and my bird club went to northern Virginia, near the Shenandoah mountains. The trip lasted from 6:30 - 12:00. First we went to a pond and found a few ducks, including American Wigeons and Buffleheads.

Then we went to another location and saw several exciting birds. The first was a roosting Long-eared Owl, which we had set out to observe. We couldn't take pictures, because that would have disturbed him.
Then we found some deer and other birds.

White-crowned Sparrow

Baltimore Oriole - Blurred Because he was far away.

Field Sparrow

Fox Sparrow

Turkey Vulture

Pine Siskin
It was a really good trip! This is the 5th trip I've taken with my bird club.
