Yesterday I went with a friend to Great Falls Park, on the Virginia side. Here is what we saw:

Tufted Titmouse

American Bullfrog

A great view of the falls.

Ebony Jewelwing! It's a cool damselfly.

Male Northern Parula, with cowbird chick. Unfortunately, he is not raising his own chick.

Six-spotted Tiger Beetle! He is shiny and blue-green, and if you look close, you will see six white spots on his rear!
It was a really cool trip, I was surprised at how much we found.
